Made in America Since the Golden Age of the Strip
How a small New Jersey wheel and tire company became a name every hot rodder knows.
From the Strip to the Street
Radir got its start building aluminum wheels and dragster slicks during the golden age of American drag racing, when a set of Radirs on the rear of a gasser or altered was as much a statement as the paint job.
Decades later, we're still doing it the same way: made-to-order, one-piece aluminum wheels manufactured in California, with slicks built to correct vintage spec — all proudly made in the USA. Sales and support run out of our office at 65 River Rd in Montville, New Jersey.
Our slicks are not recaps. Every tire is an all-new build using modern materials and construction, made to the correct early/mid-’60s styling and sizing — including the checkered-flag tread and pie-crust ribbed sidewalls that made the look famous.
Radir Wheels, Inc. still carries the same name that showed up at the strip generation after generation.
Still Doing It the Hard Way
Made to Order
No warehouse of one-size-fits-all parts. We build for your bolt pattern, your offset, your finish.
Made in America
Our wheels are manufactured in California and our slicks in Pennsylvania — not a name licensed out to an overseas factory.
One Tread, One Standard
Our special checkered-flag-tread tire still runs the same exclusive pattern that made it famous.
